Our Values Awards celebrate the employees who create unforgettable experiences for our guests and employees. This year, our Creativity Award winner - the Communications team from Hôtel Plaza Athénée Paris did something truly amazing and you can watch the exclusive behind the scenes video here. CREATIVITY WINNER: Communications team Hôtel Plaza Athénée Paris The hotel wanted to celebrate the Olympic Games in Paris and create a project featuring French Olympic athletes. While taking into account the very strict restrictions on the use of the images of the Games, the communications team demonstrated its creativity in order to seize this great opportunity for visibility with an international audience. A collaboration was set up with Mathieu Forget, photographer and performer, to create 5 photo concepts representing 5 sports, with 5 athletes, in 5 locations in the hotel. We're sure you'll agree the results were spectacular. HIGHLY COMMENDED: hotel team Hotel Principe di Savoia, Dorchester Collection In 2023 the Hotel Principe di Savoia started a collaboration with the Association UNHCR Italy, the UN Refugee Agency who works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution, or war at home. During 2024 the collaboration has been consolidated. They decided to support this association by employing some of these refugees in different departments of the Hotel. Today we present you the winner and highly commended for ‘Respect’ - Leader of the Year, next up in our Values Awards. Please join us in congratulating both. WINNER: Jerome Jean, Hôtel Plaza Athénée Paris Jerome Jean prepared the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in terms of security for both of our hotels in Paris. He organized the processes and united the teams in order to be ready for this historic event, which was going to have a significant impact on the operations due to its location close to the Olympic events. As you can imagine, it was no mean feat! HIGHLY COMMENDED:  Emily Morrison, 45 Park Lane Emily joined Dorchester Collection 6 years ago on the Ultimate Leaders Programme and has done everything and more to be in the position of Restaurant Manager at CUT. Emily leads by example and is always the first to recognise her team ahead of herself and her achievements. Next up in our annual Values Awards is PERSONALITY - Employee of the Year. Please join us in congratulating the worthy winners. Winner: Andre Maia from Coworth Park Andre has been at Coworth Park for just shy of 6 years. He is an integral part of the Woven team and is a big personality within the hotel. Andre constantly receives positive guest comments and ensures that every guest has a memorable experience during their time at Coworth Park. He is a great role model for the rest of the team, as he embodies all the Dorchester Collection values in everything he does. Highly Commended: Carine Lauraty from Hôtel Le Meurice While front-office operations often take centre stage, the back-office operations work diligently behind the scenes. Within the back-office, Carine has been a vital member of the accounting department at Le Meurice for over sixteen years. Carine always ensures that everything runs smoothly.
