Sonic branding agency SIXIÈME SON had a recognisable identity, with dynamic pink and an iconic Angel device, however it didn't have a strong idea or other visual elements to bring the brand expression to life. We wanted to build on the strengths of the existing assets but create a more playful, flexible and modern identity. The challenge was to create an identity for a sonic company, without a sonic ident itself so we built the idea of musicality into everything we produced, with that same flair and creativity that Sixième Son bring to their clients. The balance of musical ability and creative flair embodies the spirit of Sixième Son and this duality led to our core brand idea, 'Sense & Soul'. 'Sense & Soul' is about getting to the perfect mix of left and right brain - the craft and creativity - that reflects what Sixième Son bring to their clients, and the strong mix of knowledge and expertise with a unique blend of flair and creativity. Graphically we express this in the balance of structured craft with an injection of energy and upbeat playfulness. This is demonstrated in our typographic treatment which is clean, crisp and modern but with the addition of handwritten personalised moments. #branding #design #sixiemeson #sonicbranding #rebrand #brandidentity #redesign
