Dual Seal Glass is the UK's leading independent processor of high performance vision and insulated spandrel glass panels for the construction industry. Founded in 1995 by father and son David and Nigel Meredith, the business quickly established itself as a market leader: today we are the largest commercial-only IGU manufacturer in the country, employing over 140 people and supplying insulated glass units to curtain walling and façade contractors across the UK. Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, we process high-performance vision and insulated spandrel glass panels for commercial construction projects. Our products are widely acclaimed in the commercial sector, and our independence allows us to be flexible to meet high specification demands: our glass ranges are incredibly versatile, allowing us to meet tight performance and specification standards. We manufacture a broad range of glass and glazing products for commercial glazing projects, including solar-coated, decorative and acoustic glass as well as structural systems; we are also licensed to manufacture Schueco and Kawneer structural silicone units. Our independence offers our customers the ability to choose from the most cutting-edge products available, all of which are designed to meet the high-end building market where the utmost levels of performance are required. Our company policy of continuous investment in people, technology and systems, together with overriding principles of quality, delivery and service, have established Dual Seal Glass as one of the UK’s foremost independent manufacturers of commercial insulating glass units. The Barnum, Nottingham Working for GRAHAM Group in partnership with Blocwork – a joint venture between Network Rail and property developer Bloc Group, Duplus Architectural Systems Ltd were contracted to design, manufacture and install curtain walling, windows and doors to 174 structural openings within this 348 apartment scheme. Following the design brief from Franklin Ellis Architects, Duplus Architectural Systems Ltd utilised Senior Architectural Systems SF52 aluminium curtain wall, PURe® aluminium windows and SPW501 aluminium door systems. Materpatio Lift & Slide and Masterline 8 door systems from Reynaers Aluminium UK were utilised for the feature roof terrace. Saint-Gobain Planitherm Glass IGUs were supplied by dualseal - a vandaglas company Glazed-in louvres from Renson UK Aluminium insulated panels by Panel Systems Ltd.
