The award-winning and British-made ICF. A simple, cost-effective and sustainable alternative to traditional construction

About us

Eco friendly sustainable insulated construction system. Manufactured in the UK from 82% recycled Timber. More than 1000 houses have been build in the UK with the EcoBrix System. Durisol wall form units are interlocking modules (supplied pre-insulated) made from woodcrete which are dry stacked without mortar joints to form walls. The units are in-filled with concrete to form a monolithic structural walling system. The chosen finish, applied directly to the external and internal wall faces completes the wall. Durisol wall form units are quick, easy and cost-effective to construct making them the ideal option for professional developers and housebuilders. Benefits - full BBA certifiaction - UK manufactured - U-values and PSI values that can be achieved exceed UK building regulation requirements and surpass typical traditional cavity and timber frame construction values - Meets all current and upcoming UK building regulation requirements - Does not require specialist tradespeople - Fast to construct – on average just five days to complete the structure of a pair of three-bedroomed semi-detached houses - Can be constructed in all weathers – even sub-zero temperatures - Unlike polystyrene ICFs, there is no need to prop the walls during construction - Suitable for all sites even those with poor access - Has European levels of fire resistance (considerably higher than the UK regulations) - Can easily deliver an acoustic performance that exceeds building regulations standards - Made from 90% recycled material, softwood aggregates that are by-products of the timber industry
