Agriculture and mobility are pathways to prosperity. Geographic isolation and lack of access to markets have contributed to multi-dimensional poverty in eastern Nepal. Through the construction of a new truss bridge, 4,340 people are now safely connected to markets and schools, allowing farmers to sell their harvest more easily and students to more regularly attend classes. Access to water is the foundation for a healthy life. Last year, dZi worked in partnership with Himalayan communities to pipe safe drinking water to over 430 taps at homes, schools, and community buildings.
