  • "It's now more important than ever to get young people involved and interested in our maritime world. If you talk to anyone in this sector, they will all say the same thing: there are not enough young people interested in pursuing a maritime career. There are now very few of the knowledgeable and experienced older generation to hand over their skills. Time is running out, and once we've lost these skills, they are gone forever. However, I believe the tide is now turning, and with the support of organisations like EAMA, we have a bright future ahead." - Tom Curtis EAMA Ambassador The East Anglian Maritime Awards are a crucial initiative to recognise and celebrate the talent within our amazing maritime community. 🏆 Nominations are now open for this year's awards, and bursaries are available too! This is a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the incredibly talented people around us. If you know someone deserving, or if you're passionate about the future of maritime, please check out the website for more information and submit your nominations! 🌊 www.marineawards.org Tom Curtis is one of our three EAMA Youth Ambassadors.
