A wonderful launch of a new site this week to celebrate Environment Bank's 1st year of BNG policy!! We'll be sharing more about the site soon and it's journey to launch, but for now it's all about celebrating the fantastic team at Environment Bank and all of the phenomenal work they do!! 🥳

As of 28th June 2025, the European Accessibility Act 2025 comes into effect requiring any business that is trading, or plans to trade, in the EU to provide accessible digital services. For us, accessibility is non-negotiable. So we'll keep doing what we've always done and put the human behind the screen first. But we are over the moon to see moves like this come through and, as Bailey shares, the vast benefits that this can offer the Web as a whole in creating and Internet for all. Last week’s news about the WordPress Sustainability Team was disheartening, but it’s only strengthened my commitment to what we do at Wholegrain. WordPress has always enabled us to create high-performing, low-carbon websites that are beautiful, sustainable, and audience-focused. This decision doesn’t change that or the incredible work of the WordPress community. Our mission remains unchanged, and we’ll continue to show what’s possible with WordPress. Our team have been thinking about last weeks news from WordPress and how it impacts our mission and personal goals as a team who value digital sustainability as one of our foundations as a business.
