  • Planned Investment works for the commercial unit buildings at Sutton Estate are set to begin in January 2025, but preparation is already well underway. For ebrik, being a considerate builder means more than just minimising disruption — it’s about proactive communication and providing information upfront. That’s why, ahead of the works starting in January, we’re ensuring that commercial tenants are fully informed about every step of the process. Scaffold will be installed on two buildings, which will impact shop visibility, and outdoor seating space. But by providing early notice, we aim to work together with commercial tenants to make adjustments where possible. Warren Wellis, Project Manager for Wates Group, has been meticulously planning this process for months — down to the detail of creating 3D drawings for each shop to visualise the impact. His thoughtful approach is a great example of how Wates, Grange Property Management, and Clarion Housing Group are committed to considerate construction. We’re also excited to announce the launch of this new platform, giving commercial tenants access to a personal area where they can view important information like work schedules, payment details, and private updates specific to their unit. Watch the walk-through with Warren for a step-by-step look at what’s coming. This is the new platform for Chelsea Commercial: https://lnkd.in/dFTWxGBe #refurbishment #plannedinvestment #transparencyinconstruction #ebrik

As we wrap up for the year, we’re excited to share our final site update from Mitcham Eastfields — and what a way to close out 2024! Kitchen units are already being installed, including dishwashers and underfloor heating, marking a major milestone in the delivery of these high-quality new homes. Once again, Senior Site Manager Bryan Murphy takes us on a tour of the site, offering his expert insight with the same enthusiasm and attention to detail that have been hallmarks of this project. The progress is a testament to the dedication of the entire team on the ground. This project is being built by JJ Rhatigan & Company and was brought to life through the creative collaboration of three renowned architectural practices: Levitt Bernstein, Proctor & Matthews Architects, and Cullinan Studio. As the Housing Association driving this ambitious regeneration, Clarion Housing Group remains committed to keeping residents and stakeholders informed every step of the way. Our latest newsletter is being shared with residents, giving them a detailed update on progress and what’s next. A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone involved for the remarkable progress made this year. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a well-deserved break! Here’s to even more milestones in 2025. 🎉 Check out the full update here and see it for yourself: https://lnkd.in/d9TpyyG3 #Regeneration #Transparencyinconstruction #ebrik

  • Exciting developments at Barne Barton in Plymouth! 🏡 Once the UK’s largest site for Royal Navy accommodation, this historic neighborhood is being transformed into high-quality family housing. This incredible project is a testament to the resilience and determination of Barne Barton residents, who championed the future of their community over many years. Construction began in 2024, and we’ve already reached the internal fit-out stage in several buildings — a major milestone! Lovell Partnerships Ltd and Clarion Housing Group are bringing this vision to life, with Senior Site Manager Dave Clark giving us a behind-the-scenes tour of the impressive progress. This regeneration is about more than bricks and mortar—it’s about creating a brighter future for families in Barne Barton. • Planned investment projects come with their own unique challenges compared to new builds or refurbishments. Unlike starting from a blank slate, these works take place while residents continue to live in their homes—a process that can understandably be quite disruptive. From scaffolding outside windows to noise, dust, and in-flat works, it’s no small adjustment for the residents. At Sutton Chelsea Estate, Clarion Housing Group and Wates Group are collaborating to deliver improvement works across 11 blocks. Throughout the process, we capture all works on our platform, ensuring residents have clear visibility into timelines and what to expect at each stage. Construction can be complex, but we aim to make it easier for everyone to understand. • Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Sutton Estate refurbishment project with Paul Quinn, as he walks us through the incredible improvements made by Durkan and the Regeneration Team at Clarion Housing Group. Paul explains the installation of ground source heat pumps across blocks A-D, providing sustainable energy and cost savings for residents. The level of detail is impressive—the team even went to the lengths of finding the original font used when the estate was built in 1913. Today we launch our new website showcasing some of the work of Clarion's Regeneration Team and the communities we partner with. It includes links to several of our EBrik sites, offering insight into schemes from foundations all the way through to completion, including our recently completed work at the Sutton Estate in Chelsea. At ebrik, we use Augmented Reality (AR) to showcase new homes to residents and homebuyers in their actual real dimensions 🏡 . However, AR has many applications and use cases. Last month, as part of the High Path regeneration by Clarion Housing Group, we conducted a Social Value workshop at Merton Abbey Primary School, teaching a group of Year 3 students how to build an AR exhibition, using an iOS mobile app and video content created by the students 👩💻 . #regeneration #augmentedreality

The company's size doesn't matter when undertaking Social Value initiatives in Regeneration. 👷♀️ Last month, we conducted a one-day workshop with Year 3 students at Merton Abbey Primary School as part of the Clarion Housing Group regeneration at High Path. By the end of the workshop, we created an iOS mobile app that allows people to explore the environment in Augmented Reality, showcasing different views about the High Path regeneration. Personally, this was an amazing learning experience for me. I had never taught such a young audience, and working with 28 students aged 7-8 was a rewarding challenge. One of the things I enjoy about working on Regeneration projects is that they can span 5-10 years with multiple phases of development, allowing for continuous engagement and social value initiatives within the community. I look forward to meeting this group of students next year! 😍 #regeneration #augmentedreality
