As we head towards the end of the year, it is good to reflect on how far Connected Competence has come this last year. 44% more tests were completed by temporary workers in 2024 compared to 2023. And we now have 10 contractors and 20 clients signed up to the Connected Competence charters - demonstrating their commitment to a safer and more transferable workforce. As we move into 2025 we expect a busy period with TARs and shutdowns. Having everyone’s technical competence verified through a recognised scheme ensures a safer workforce and peace of mind to all that everyone is working to the same standard. After successfully completing a technical test, workers are issued a Connected Competence digital badge through Credly. They can then show their technical competence through these digital badges to potential employers.
