At Econ Engineering, we believe in supporting the communities where we live and work. That’s why we’re proud to donate £15,000 to UK Men’s Sheds in Ripon, Alloa, and Cardiff, helping them continue their invaluable work in bringing people together, sharing skills, and improving wellbeing. Men’s Sheds provide a welcoming space for people to connect, learn, and work on hands-on projects, tackling social isolation in the process. Our donation will help fund a new workshop in Ripon, secure premises in Alloa, and provide a dedicated base in Cardiff. A special thanks to our Factory Manager, Colin Trewhitt, for personally delivering the donation to Ripon Men’s Shed and to our former colleagues Richard Thompson and Tom Gerry, who helped inspire our support after experiencing the positive impact of Men’s Sheds first-hand.
