Over the last couple of weeks Sarah and Isabelle travelled up to beautiful Carlisle in the Lake District for what was probably our most northern public consultation yet! We celebrated an edge Birthday – Happy Birthday Anna! Sarah was treated to some brilliant speakers at this year’s Land, Planning and Development Federation conference in London, and we’ve decided to WALK TO LAPLAND… for a Christmas countdown / step-challenge festive extravaganza! In the last few weeks, we’ve been out and about in Cambridgeshire for public consultations, Hannah was treated to Bristol’s pretty College Green in all its Autumnal glory and Sarah had a great weekend at Twickenham courtesy of our friends at Rainier Developments and Strategic Land – thanks for the invite guys! The team also got together for lunch to celebrate Hannah and Anna’s Birthdays – we love an excuse to leave the packed lunches at home! Happy Friday! Team edge x

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been filling our new HQ full of colour, Anna visited Oxford Brookes to present at URBOX's 'Navigating Graduate Success' event - speaking to 3rd year students about what we do at edge and how we support young professionals to develop and thrive in the early stages of their career and beyond, and our Made for Me proposal has winged its way to the Healthy City Design 2024 International Congress & Exhibition in Liverpool. Liane, Natasha and the lovely Lawrence Barraclough (pictured here), who are all part of our Made for Me team with Turley, are there to tell you all about our winning proposal. This week 66% of the office were out and about in the September sunshine on site visits… leaving the other 33% with FOMO! Sarah and Anna had a great time seeing some familiar faces at the Land, Planning and Development Federation summer party – despite the lack of ‘summery’ weather! We introduced Brandon, an outline application for 43 new homes nestled amongst ancient woodland in Warwickshire, and in case you missed it… we only went and WON NLA’s Reimagine London competition with our proposal ‘Made For Me’, designed in collaboration with Turley, MATTER SPACE SOUL, You See Media and Mend! The last couple of weeks have seen Sarah, Hannah and Anna travel to Plymouth for this year’s Urban Design Group Conference …where they even managed to go for a quick dip in the sea (yes it was freezing!), the team introduced Made for Me to the London Real Estate Forum, we celebrated 1 year of Isabelle before then celebrating 6 years of edge!
