My mental health is a priority, and I make a conscious effort to stay focused. Being an entrepreneur, especially without the support of a full-scale corporation, can be tough. I wear many hats—IT, HR, Payroll, CEO, MD, FD, and sometimes even janitor. To manage the stress, I’ve adapted my routine. These days, I walk for 90 to 120 minutes at 5 a.m. (I used to run, but my hips don’t appreciate that anymore). During the day, I take breaks—sometimes it’s a coffee shop visit, sometimes a walk on the beach. If only a tree could talk. This is a magnificent piece of art created by my daughter-in-law. It depicts The Royal Oak in Richmond Park, an 800-year-old oak tree that still stands proudly today. You cannot even begin to imagine what this tree has seen. If only trees could talk. The wisdom, guidance, and direction you can get from this living organism, that must have seen hardship like no other. Yet, 800 years later, it still lives.
