The team works with dealers who want to be both the owner and the operator of their Essar-branded forecourt. We call these great relationships ‘dealer owned, dealer operated’ or ‘DODO’ for short. DA Roberts Fuels rebranded their forecourt to join the Essar fuelling network and here’s what they had to say about that decision: “It has been a roaring success with our volumes sold increasing across diesel and unleaded, plus the supreme fuels. We have had great feedback from our customers regarding the look of the forecourt which, especially at night when lit up, looks very impressive. It was a privilege to be part of the Confederation of Indian Industry CEO delegation to the UK, alongside captains of Indian industry. We had productive discussions with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rt Hon Rachel Reeves, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, & Development Affairs David Lammy, Secretary of State for Business & Trade Jonathan Reynolds MP, and other senior Cabinet Ministers, focusing on enhancing the India-UK partnership. 🇮🇳🇬🇧 Essar is proud to play a key role in achieving the #NetZero plan of the UK with our #EnergyTransition hub at Stanlow.

Colleagues were recently given the chance to enter a competition to watch a Tranmere Rovers FC home game at Prenton Park. One of the winners, Connor, won two tickets and took his 6-year-old son with him.    Here is Connor’s son proudly showcasing his ticket outside of the ground.    Connor shared: “He really enjoyed the game. His favourite part was standing up when someone was playing the drums. The whole experience gets a big thumbs up from him.”   #football #tranmererovers #community #colleagues

These great relationships are called ‘company leased, dealer operated’ or ‘CLDO’ for short.   A CLDO site that has recently celebrated national success is our flagship forecourt at Lea Gate, Preston. It won two prestigious awards at this year’s Forecourt Trader Awards!   Here’s Shoaib and his team at Lea Gate celebrating the win. Recently, Bill Esterson MP visited our refinery at Stanlow and met with some of our apprentices. Aaron, Eden, and Jack, all phase three apprentices, gave Mr Esterson a guided tour of our central control room and shared an insight into their apprenticeship journeys here at EET Fuels. Mr Esterson shared that it was “fantastic to meet Jack, Eden and Aaron…who were bursting with enthusiasm to tell me about how everything works from the cracker onwards.” Jo-Anne Davies - Associate CIPD, learning and development manager at EET Fuels, said “An EET Fuels apprenticeship offers a great gateway to a career for those seeking an operational, technical, or corporate path.
