Fontaine, Cecilia shared the stage with innovators from Kino, The New York Times Games, and Moises. She offered a behind-the-scenes look at EF Hello's journey, showcasing the creativity and passion that drive our app development. 👀 Apple just revealed their 2024 App Store Award winners! In this series, I'll be doing breakdowns of the apps from a designer's point of view. Today, we're starting with EF Hello, a language learning app powered by AI that features a super cute ladybug character called Addi 🐞. A couple of things that stood out to me: 1. The illustrations! The Addi illustrations are all super cute and have so much personality. I hope they continue to build on the library of characters in the Addi-universe. 2. The roleplaying library! They only have a library for English right now, but it was cool to see this application of AI. They had so many examples for common scenarios from introducing yourself at a party to asking for a home loan. Apparently, most people prefer practicing with an AI because it's less intimidating.
