  • This November we are raising money for and awareness of Men's Health issues. There is still a huge problem with men ignoring signs and symptoms of serious disease and mental health for fear of missing work, worrying family, appearing weak or simply hoping that the issue will go away. Sadly, the reality is that for Testicular, Prostate and other forms of Cancer this can be a death sentence. Please donate what you can and if you feel that the above describes you or someone you know, please get it checked or encourage them to do so, it could save a life.

It was a pleasure to welcome your new recruits this morning, and we thank you for trusting in EKGTA to deliver the leading Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering program in Scotland. Mackenzie and Reece form part of a cohort of 60 trainees who started their Modern Apprenticeship training in The Academy today, undertaking the NC in Engineering Systems as part of their Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering journey. These 60 new recruits join the 60 who started the vocational element on the 5th of August bringing the total for our August 24/25 intake to 120 apprentices. We have been working hard over the summer to increase our capacity in anticipation for one of our busiest intakes yet!

  • 🚀 Exciting News at EKGTA! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that, from Monday, EKGTA will be delivering the NC in Engineering Systems as part of our Modern Apprenticeship programme, all in-house! This marks the launch of our new department, The Academy, dedicated to delivering high-quality academic qualifications alongside our already robust training programs. A warm welcome to Stephen Kinnon and Chris Gray, our newly appointed lecturers, who bring decades of experience in education and the industry to our team. We’re also fortunate to have Raymond Lyon, former Head of Engineering at Glasgow Clyde College, supporting us during our pivotal first year. This expansion allows us to provide a more integrated and seamless learning experience for your apprentices, ensuring they receive top-tier education and practical training under one roof. Since 1966 we have been committed to providing the best possible education and training experience, and this is another huge development in our continued efforts to improve our delivery. We’re excited for the future and the opportunities this brings to our learners, employers, partners, and the broader engineering community. #Engineering #ModernApprenticeship #SkillsDevelopment #Education #EKGTA #EngineeringExcellence

We are welcoming applications from time-served engineers looking to take a step back from frontline engineering. A background in training delivery would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be provided.
