We're very pleased to announce the appointment of Ava Mayor as People & Culture Administrator. Ava has been working temporarily with our People & Culture team over the summer and after demonstrating profound commitment and potential, we're very pleased to officially welcome Ava on board as a full time member of Elta Group. Ava will be completing her Level 3 CIPD over the next year, making her our very first People & Culture apprentice within Elta Group. Welcome to the team Ava.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No… While on a short break in Adelaide, a staff member woke up in his hotel room to see what appeared to be a flying fan. “I thought I was dreaming, but then realised it was one of our fans being lifted into a building.” The fan was a 1600mm diameter Adjustable Pitch Axial Flow Fan with 12 GRP blades and a 15kW motor. Matching Down Stream Guide Vanes would soon also be lifted into place where they would increase the fan’s static pressure output by up to 25%. “I’ve seen axial fans in some unusual applications but never 20 floors high from a hotel room window”. The Fantech axial fan with guide vanes is part of upgrades for the University of Adelaide. As a group, we are committed to moving forward as markets change and technologies evolve. Over the past few months, we have made significant investments in several of our UK manufacturing facilities to ensure we continue delivering the highest quality products for your projects. Recent investments include new machinery, such as a laser for Elta's Fareham factory and punch at Elta's Kingswinford factory. With some of our businesses surpassing their 60th anniversary, it's important to keep looking forward and enhancing our capabilities for the benefit of both our employees and customers.

We are delighted to announce that Elta Group has acquired Air Movement Supplies Dublin in Ireland. With AMS joining Elta Group, we are set to significantly increase our distribution network across the Republic of Ireland, allowing us to better serve our customers, strengthen our product range, and boost our production capabilities. We are pleased to share that experienced industry leaders David Kelly and John Grainger will continue to lead AMS. Their expertise, dedication, and strong leadership have been pivotal to the success of AMS. Since 1992, Acoustica has been providing leading noise control solutions, along with quality service to customers across the UK from their facility in Colchester. Acoustica was acquired by Elta Group in 2016, with the view to support their future expansion and development. Today is #CleanAirDay in the UK. An important day for raising further awareness of the importance of air quality. As a group, this is something we do every day, in each of our businesses located across the globe. With air pollution being linked to around 43,000 deaths every year in the UK alone*, it's more important than ever to raise awareness, and make changes where necessary. The efforts to help make air cleaner for all is still ongoing and it is imperative buildings both new and old have correctly specified and installed ventilation systems. Cleaner air is well within our grasp and something that we can achieve using the right solutions. Our very own Axial Impeller is the beating heart of Elta Group across the globe. From start to finish, every Axial Impeller is manufactured in one of our dedicated facilities.   Our impellers are as strong as they are because we source quality materials and have perfected our methods of casting; that’s why they can withstand high pressure and temperatures. It’s great to see an old impeller be given a second life, thank you John for sharing your story with us.
