Built for charity event managers by charity event managers, EMMA is responding to the growing demand for more transparency by 3rd party technology and fundraising suppliers that provide services to the charity sector.     Tomorrow is a big day, not just because it’s my lovely mum’s birthday (Happy Birthday Mum!), it’s also International Women's Day AND EMMA Live’s 4th birthday – that’s right, we launched Emma on IWD in 2021 and it’s been thanks to the great work of all of the women we’ve worked and collaborated with that we’re still going strong on our 4th anniversary.    This year’s IWD theme is #accelerateaction, so I want to take the opportunity to shoutout and show appreciation for some of the women whose hard work has accelerated progress for both women worldwide, Emma and their various causes.    💻 The Emma team: with around 80% women on the Emma staff, we wouldn’t be where we are without them. From Partner support to sales to marketing, the women on our team are absolute trailblazers and I couldn’t be more thankful to work with such a great crew.  🎁 A Noble Gift: Go-getters in every sense of the word the all-women team at A Noble Gift are changing the charity auction landscape, boosting once-in-a-lifetime prizes and supporting charities of all sizes to fundraise effectively. I’m delighted to support their hard work.  ☕ CARAVAN COFFEE ROASTERS | B Corp™’s Female Producer Programme: Not something I’m personally involved with but on my various trips to the Strand location for a caffeine boost I’ve learned more about their initiative to support projects elevating women coffee producers in various regions across South America and Africa.     Last week, we tuned into this really insightful session led by Rebecca Elcome from Coveted Creates, where she shared some key takeaways on the 2024 event landscape. Navigating the world of events and fundraising can be challenging, but sessions like these remind us that we’re all in this together.
