    Senior Regulatory Lawyer at Visa

It was great to take part in Weil Social Mobility Week and represent Visa by speaking to pupils across the UK.   Organised by Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Skills Builder Partnership, the initiative involved 124 business professionals from 26 companies who spoke to 1,300+ pupils from 23 schools – in just five days! Skills-Builder’s Essential Skills framework helps schools to embed eight key transferable skills into their lessons and teaching.   Listening, Speaking, Problem Solving, Creativity, Staying Positive, Aiming High, Leadership & Teamwork are skills we all have to use on a daily basis and it was a great experience to share examples of how I use these skills in my role.   #socialmobility #weilsocialmobilityweek #lifeatvisa #skillsbuilder #essentialskills

At Mentivity, we believe that essential skills should be a core part of every young person's education journey. Through our Skills Builder Partnership, we're committed to equipping young people with practical tools for life, not just the classroom. Our approach is built on the conviction that everyone deserves access to the skills that will help them succeed in education, work, and beyond. Our Respite services integrate the Skills Builder framework to enhance curriculum learning with targeted skill-building in areas such as communication, problem-solving, resilience, and adaptability. By working closely with schools, we ensure that young people experience a smooth transition and continuity of learning, aligning with their individual educational goals and needs. _____ cc Patrick Egbuchiem Jennifer Holmes
