We’re excited to be part Locality's Annual Convention, taking place today and tomorrow (12-13 November) in Manchester. This event brings together individuals who believe in the transformative power of community. For over 10 years, we’ve proudly partnered with Locality, and the convention is always a highlight - an opportunity to connect with inspiring leaders, policymakers, and change-makers driving impactful work across the UK. This year, we’re honoured to sponsor the Building Inclusive Communities Award, which celebrates a standout community organisation empowering local people to shape their future, and build a fairer, thriving society. Best of luck to all the amazing nominees at tonight’s Locality Awards ceremony! If you’re attending the convention, we’d love to meet you! Stop by our stand to chat with our specialist Mark Fisher about how our comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions can support your community organisation. #charity #insurance #riskmanagement #powerofcommunity

Really excited to be working with team Endsleigh/Howdens and what a fantastic way to start. If you’re heading over to Cheltenham Festivals this Sunday, then please do come and say hi 👋🏽
We're thrilled to welcome Baasit Siddiqui to the Endsleigh, soon to be Howden, team. You may recognise Baasit from the popular TV show #Gogglebox, but for the past 15 years he's been working as an educator and is passionate about supporting young people through their educational journey, and we can't wait to work with him over the coming months. Baasit will be joining us at Cheltenham Festivals at the Young Minds Matter event this Sunday (13th October at 3.15pm) so why not come along, join in the discussion with speakers Ben West and Tasha Bailey BACP and say hello. #youngmindsmatter #cheltlitfest

This needs to urgently change. Three in four teachers say poor student mental health is getting in the way of learning in the classroom, our latest research shows. Teachers told us they have no choice but to step in – since students are not getting the support they need on the NHS or elsewhere. Schools are already understaffed and under-resourced. And young people deserve to get the support they need, when they need it, no matter what. Mental health problems among school-aged children “is at epic proportions and should be a national scandal. There’s just not enough [NHS] provision. Our children are suffering under a system unfit for purpose,” says James Bowen from the National Association of Head Teachers. We urgently demand that the Government deliver on its commitment to provide specialist mental health support in all schools. And we need an education system that puts wellbeing on the same level as academic achievement. #WorldMentalHealthDay #HelloYellow
