Last night saw the final match in the inaugural Vitality Netball Horizon Series. After four closely matched and hugely entertaining games broadcast live across BBC Sport, it was the Jamaica Sunshine Girls who lifted the Rhone Hornsby Trophy at the end of the four-match series. The opening two games were played in front of a passionate home crowd in Manchester, where thousands of fans showed their support for the Vitality Roses and enjoyed the electric atmosphere at the AO Arena. The Vitality Roses and Jamaica Sunshine Girls provided the ultimate entertainment, with a powerful display of the speed and physicality of elite international netball on court. England Netball partners Gilbert and DYNAMIK Sport ensured the games ran smoothly, with Gilbert providing ball delivery and ball patrol services and the DYNAMIK mop ensuring the court was kept dry and safe to play on. Meanwhile, fans were kept entertained in between the action with engaging live performances at half time and a range of innovative activations from our partners Vitality, Experience Kissimmee, and the British Army. There was even the opportunity for fans to meet and greet Vitality Roses, Future Roses and Netball Super League stars on the concourse! The away leg was played in Kingston, Jamaica, where fans watching live on BBC Sport were treated to two more intense battles on court, eventually seeing the Jamaican Sunshine Girls claim the inaugural Vitality Netball Horizon Series win. All four games in the series were broadcast live on BBC Sport, allowing sports fans to watch free-to-air live international netball and providing a fantastic platform to grow the visibility of the sport. As the Vitality Roses’ focus now moves to preparations for the Vitality Netball Nations Cup to be played in Nottingham and London in February 2025, we would like to send a huge thank you to all our fans, partners, volunteers and game makers for your ongoing support. Catch up on all four games in the series here: https://lnkd.in/ePVUFi_z #VitalityNetballHorizonSeries #Netball #InternationalNetball #LiveSport
