Julia Baker, Chair of EIC’s Nature and Biodiversity Task Force and Nature Services Lead at Mott MacDonald, shares her views on the 2024 United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP16), held from 21 October to 1 November in Colombia. The conference marked significant milestones in international discussions on nature and offered a pivotal moment to consider how nature will influence the infrastructure sector. 🌱 It’s encouraging to see nature gaining prominence in policy and practice, with increasing support for infrastructure that restores and strengthens the environment.
