World Models That Elevate Enterprise Cognition
About us
AI should work for people, not slow them down. Ergodic is building Active AI for enterprise: AI that delivers on the promise of data by identifying specific actions that improve every metric. Whether you're managing supply chains for a manufacturer or leading ad sales at a publisher, you know how tough it is to stay on top of everything. Making decisions with confidence, when every moment brings more data, can feel impossible. We’re building toward that future with a new type of AI we call Enterprise World Models. By removing the manual data grind and surfacing concrete actions to decision-makers to accelerate critical choices — while keeping actions under human control — people can be freed to focus on what truly matters: solving problems, creating new things, and driving progress.

💫 Quick Recap (or What You Missed!) Connected Data London Yesterday!! #CDL24 💫 Andre Franca, PhD. & Amy Hodler explored #causality: from why you can’t just simply use #machinelearning to sharing various tools and resources to help you start incorporating causality into your predictive workflow. They walked through practical examples – curious to understand more about the causes of San Francisco traffic accidents? – to illustrate key aspects of #causalinference and #causaldiscovery. Of course, there were tons of great questions about Ergodic too! If you missed Andre Franca, PhD. yesterday (or you want to learn from him again), he will be giving one more talk tomorrow at 11:15AM - 1:15PM GMT Network Science for Graph Practitioners: Seeing Beyond Nodes and Edges! ✨ See you there!! ✨

🌟 Thrilled to share that Andrej Nikonov recently joined Ergodic as one of our Co-Founders and Chief Scientific Officer!! Looking forward to the exciting journey ahead!! 🌟
🌟 I'm delighted to announce that I have recently joined Ergodic as co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer! Together with Zubair Magrey and Andre Franca, we are developing an AI solution robust enough to tackle complex business decision-making.💡🤖 At Ergodic, we believe that an AI agent framework must be based on a world model - a structured representation of the key elements, interactions, and dynamics within and around the business. 🌐⚙️🔄 If you're interested in exploring how our solution can support your needs by becoming an early beta user, I'd love to hear from you!

Exciting News!! 🚨🚨 Our very own, Andre Franca, PhD, was co-awarded the second place prize 🥈 at the ADIA Lab Casual Discovery Challenge collaboration with Crunch Lab in Abu Dhabi this week! Congratulations Andre!! Stay tuned for a dive into the methodology of the project soon!!
🚀 2nd Place - Adia Lab 2024 Causal Discovery $100,000 Challenge 🥈 With my incredible teammate Andre Franca, PhD, we had a great time tackling this challenging competition together. 🤜🤛 #Causal Discovery (quite a new and growing area): Identify the causal structure underlying a set of variables from their observed data. A critical tool for advancing insights and relationships in fields like healthcare, economics, social sciences, and environmental science. The task was to design an algorithm that, given a dataset, outputs the corresponding causal directed acyclic graph. The datasets in this competition defied traditional assumptions, combining both linear and non-linear relationships among uniformly distributed variables, a complexity that exposes the limitations of many SOTA models. Our solution combined supervised and unsupervised redesigned methods, with components tailored to the challenge but a robust core process capable of generalizing to any dataset. It was a remarkable challenge organized by the teams of both Crunch Lab & ADIA Lab, an Abu Dhabi-based laboratory dedicated to basic and applied research in data and computational sciences. It was by far the hardest competition I’ve participated in (especially with the other participants setting the bar so high - many of them being prominent researchers from the field). The challenge's uniqueness and complexity make it, in my view, a strong contender for one of the best competitions of the year. A huge thank you to the organizers and speakers Emanuele Olivetti, Horst Simon, Marcos Lopez de Prado, guido imbens, Miguel Hernán and Aleksander Molak. 📌 Note: I’m starting freelancing ✌️ 2nd note: ADIA Lab will release a report on the datasets and some participants plan to publish their solutions. This has the potential to establish a new benchmark for further work in the causal discovery field. #Causal #Research #DataScience
