Really looking forward to attending the ESCRS Winter Meeting in Athens, seeing friends and getting the latest info. Highlights include: -Symposia dedicated to astigmatism correction, enhancement procedures, and how deal with posterior capsule ruptures. -A panel discussion with pioneering surgeon Ioannis Pallikaris about the first LASIK procedure. -Networking and sharing opportunities and more informal sessions such as the World Café, BoSS speed mentoring sessions, and the Exhibition Tours with ESCRS experts. -TOGA sessions held in a “speakers’ corner” where all participants and audience will be invited to participate with the moderation of an expert. Finally, two important workshops will be held about cataract and refractive surgery guidelines designed by members of the ESCRS. “I encourage everyone to participate, because this is something that really provides insights in our feeling as a society.
