We’re thrilled to announce that the National Education Nature Park has been shortlisted for the Nature & Biodiversity Project of the Year at the edie Awards 2025! Often called 'the Oscars of sustainable business', the edie Awards recognise the most innovative and impactful sustainability projects in the UK. A collaboration between the Natural History Museum, Royal Horticultural Society, Esri UK, Department for Education and other partners, the Nature Park project is empowering young people to improve biodiversity in their school grounds, while developing their green skills and enhancing their connection to nature. Over 3,000 education settings are already taking part with more than 2 million square metres of habitats mapped. Students are creating green walls, digging ponds and growing pollinator-friendly plants, transforming the country's education estate into a vast nature park twice the size of Birmingham. We’re honoured to be part of this initiative and look forward to the award ceremony on 13 March 2025 at the Intercontinental, London, The O2. Thank you to all the partners and the dedicated young people making a difference!
