  • 🌟 Meet our committee member Marjana Uddin 🌟 Marjana is a Solicitor at Taylor Rose in the Chelmsford and Carter Lane office; she works closely with domestic abuse organisations: Next Chapter, RAMA (Refugee, Asylum seeker & Migrant Action, formerly known as Refuge Action - Colchester) & IKWRO (Iranian & Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation). Marjana also works with the Chelmsford Law Clinic, Anglia Ruskin University Law Clinic, Essex University Law Clinic, BPP Legal Advice Clinic and & UCL Legal Clinic, where she provides pro-bono advice to clients in Family matters and works alongside Law students. Marjana sits on the Resolution Membership Committee Member, Resolution Domestic Abuse Committee and Mid-Essex Law Society Committee and is a Trustee for the Law Society Charity. Marjana was shortlisted for the Junior Lawyer of the Year at the Law Society Awards 2021; she was the inaugural winner of the YRes Rising Star Award at the Resolution Awards 2021 and was shortlisted for the Family Law Champion category at the Family Law Awards, 2023 and was recently published and recognised on the inaugural Pro-Bono Recognition List, 2024. Marjana has a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health and Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.

    🌟Meet our committee member Aimee Jones 🌟 Aimee is a Senior Associate at Sternberg Reed and has been a committee member since 2023. Aimee specialises in all aspects of Private Family Law including divorce, financial remedy, children and domestic abuse. Aimee is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in the areas of financial remedy and private children.

  • 🌟 Meet our Committee Member Beth Duffy 🌟 Beth is an Associate Solicitor at Rayden Solicitors. Beth has been a committee member since 2021. Beth is experienced in all areas of family law including divorce, financial settlements on divorce and private children matters. Since qualifying Beth has also worked on high value matters where there are complex issues across multiple jurisdictions.

  • 🌟 Meet our Committee Co-Chair Farrah Harvey-Nawaz 🌟 Farrah is a Senior Associate at Birkett Long. Farrah has been a committee member since 2019 and is currently Co Chair of Essex YRes. Farrah deals with children law matters, divorce and financial matters, cohabitation matters (including Separation Agreements and ToLATA applications), pre-nuptial agreements, family law matters (including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders) and international child abduction cases.
