As 2024 draws to a close, I want to personally thank all our supporters for being such an important part of the Ethex community this year. Your ongoing support and commitment to investing with purpose means together we’re showing that money is one of the most powerful tools for immediate transformation towards positive social and environmental impact. We started 2024 on a high, celebrating 10 years of impact with the launch of our impact report. Looking back over the decade, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come together and the difference we’ve all made. We were able to highlight that since 2013 we have all helped over 20,000 positive investors raise over £120 million to back more than 200 pioneering projects that have created a positive impact. Thanks to your continued belief in what we do, 2024 has been another extraordinary year. Our investors have continued to back businesses and projects that are tackling some of the UK’s most pressing challenges, and the impact speaks for itself. What we’ve achieved together this year in our mission to make money do good: Mobilised over £8.4 million for impact-led organisations and… >Supported five community energy projects, bringing new renewable energy generation across the UK >Raised over £2.4 million for three ethical finance organisations, championing financial inclusion and fair taxation. >Funded two community organic farms, two affordable housing initiatives, and an inclusive community gym, helping to strengthen local economies and bring people together. I believe our collective wellbeing is interconnected. Beyond the numbers, it’s the personal stories that truly show the power of what we’re achieving together. Knowing there are families finding a safe and stable home. Communities are coming together to build renewable energy projects or create local shared access to sustainable food sources. Individuals are able to take control of their financial futures without discrimination. These are the moments that remind me why we do what we do—and why your support matters so much. As we set our sights on 2025, we’re more determined than ever to grow this incredible community and create even greater opportunities to drive impact. In the meantime, it would mean the world to us if you could help spread the word about Ethex, you can inspire more people to join this movement and amplify the impact we’re helping to create.
