We love to help organisations to create the best workplace culture, and to equip and support every colleague to excel.

About us

We are passionate about fostering a brilliant employee experience in workplaces, and supporting every person to learn, grow and develop so they can make their desired impact. Our team of people and organisational design experts work with like-minded businesses to harness the true power of their people. We do this, firstly through bespoke programmes that dig deep into organisations to diagnose the current picture from an employee experience and development needs perspective… Then, armed with that knowledge, we guide those organisations on the things that will make the biggest difference and move their business forward. Running thousands of survey and feedback programmes over the las t 30+ years has given us a front-row seat to see what drives successful organisations, and the skills and behaviours needed to create higher-performing teams and leaders.  But we don't just leave it there. As holistic and strategic partners, we continue to support clients beyond these diagnostic exercises, working with an ever-increasing number of organisations to address development areas. Our multi award-winning programmes are trusted by organisations of all sizes, and across all sectors including the likes of Tesco, Starbucks, Cancer Research UK, Nationwide and JD Sport. You can discover more about us at etsplc.com.

  • 🌍 World Kindness Day 2024 got us thinking... For us (and our clients), we spend lots of time talking about and measuring employee and organisational KPIs, engagement metrics and organisational outcomes... And this is all really valuable to understand where things are working well, where there might be an issue, and to gauge progress being made. But stripping this all away, one of the most fundamentally important things about work is surely creating a happy and inclusive environment? One where colleagues are kind to one another, and where work is fun and feels less like a job... This is a subject our Senior Consultant Louise Obi-Drake is hugely passionate about, and talks about in this short video, recalling her Masters dissertation and delving into the characterises of workplaces where people can have fun, be themselves and thrive 🎞️ #happyworkplaces #funatwork #employeeexperience #worldkindnessday

  • ☣️ Toxic workplace cultures = what people hate most about their job How 'healthy' is your workplace culture, are people happy at work and is your organisation doing the right things to purposefully foster the right culture? Really interesting take offered by former Twitter executive Bruce Daisley when delivering a keynote at last week's CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition. Daisly reminded us that culture is defined by behaviours and - crucially -this is the case whether these are “encouraged, rewarded, or tolerated”. And he added; “The culture of any organisation is shaped by the worst behaviour the leader is willing to tolerate.” When contemplating low or stagnant engagement, soaring attrition and poor performance, the culture in your workplace is absolutely key... Are you clear on the behaviours you need to promote in your organisation to help people to thrive, and to rekindle their enjoyment of work and, in turn, help your business to prosper? 🤔 [Link below in comments to article published in People Management] #workplaceculture #makeworkbetter #employeeexperience

New video 🎬 Everyone knows people are an organisation’s biggest asset... So, prioritising giving them the very best experience – and supporting them to thrive at work is a no-brainer, right? But how do you do that? Our Client Partner Nicky Paris has been answering this very question while in conversation with Trevor Merriden for our 'Expert series', discussing: > The indisputable truth that higher engagement = stronger performance > Why engagement alone isn’t enough > The 2 x other lenses to focus on (besides engagement), in enablement and empowerment #employeeexperience #employeeengagement #employeelistening

  • Great short video from my colleague Andrew Macdonald at ETS plc on the real, strategic value of employee diagnostic exercises like engagement surveys (the doctor > prescription analogy particularly rings true) 👇👇
