As the year draws to a close we reflect on a few of our 2024 highlights: January: We had a visit from Jen Leary, Yassir Karam and Cathy Clarke of CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) to our London office to visit our secondees as they reach halfway into their tenure. February: Rosemary Satchwell and the Intrepid232 team broke the Ocean Rowing Stats world record by being the oldest female fours crew to ever cross the Atlantic Ocean. March: Our Liverpool office hosted a Life Skills Workshop day for young women from local schools across the city, as part of the company’s sponsorship of The Girls' Network. April: We were awarded Silver status by the Inclusive Employers Standard in our second submission. May: Our colleagues James Dawkins, CFA and Robert Berkeley were named amongst the 2024 PAM NextGen Leaders June: We won 'FinTech Advisory Firm of the Year' at the 2024 Fintech awards. July: We welcomed Charlotte Platts as Regional Managing Partner for our Financial Planning business across Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. August: We announced our new corporate partnership with Career Ready, a social mobility charity that empowers young people from under-represented backgrounds. September: We welcomed nearly 200 graduates and school leavers — our largest ever annual cohort! October: Our Autumn Budget webinars. November: We hosted Stuart Trevor (Founder of All Saints) at our Entrepreneurial Minds event, keeping our audience of entrepreneurs engaged with stories of his career and real insights for those looking to scale and succeed! December: At the Investors' Chronicle Celebration of Investment Awards 2024 in collaboration with the Financial Times, alongside Bestinvest, we scooped a mighty eight awards!

We have completed the sale of Utopia Distribution Services to DP World Logistics UK on December 13, 2024. The business will continue operations from its state-of-the-art facility in Bicester under DP World. Mark Supperstone (Partner - London) commented: “It is unfortunate to see a business such as UDS that benefits from high-quality facilities and prominent clients in the music industry encounter these difficulties.
