Great to have raised over £500 for Movember this year. The charity does great work in progressing the cause for men's' mental health as well as male specific cancers, to help men live longer, happier lives. It is a fantastic cause and we were really happy to do our bit this year. Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Coventry City Football Club legend Joe Elliott MBE and his wife Grace to site for a tour and introduction to all things Evtec. We discussed the changing automotive industry, social responsibilities of businesses and Joe was able to have a chat with many of our employees and student interns. It was great to be able to show how we are able to maintain our environmental and social commitments, while developing high quality manufacturing standards. It was an real honour to be invited along to JLR's Global DE&I Summit yesterday to take part in a group discussion, with some other amazing panelists, on the DE&I journey of our businesses and what we have learned. It was great to be able to stay for the rest of the day to see all the amazing work going on in the business, with some really thought provoking discussion and inspirational speeches from Dame Kelly Holmes and Amar Latif. Both of whom were amazing!

We were absolutely thrilled to be chosen as the winner in the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion category at the Engineering & Manufacturing Awards, which took place last week 😄 It is the second year in row that we have won the award, which shows how committed we are to continuing to progress the cause of ED&I in the workplace. We are very proud of the relationship that we have built up with Corley Academy, part of the Thrive Education Partnership, over the years, to work on the shared goal of improving opportunities for young people with disabilities. They have put together a great video below of their Thrive program (which we are part of) and it shows the impact that this can have on young peoples lives. Here's hoping for many more years of success working together 😊

Great to be able to celebrate so many long service milestones reached this year with Evtec. It is especially pleasing as a business to see that these cover all different areas, including, Production, IT, Engineering, Commercial, Supply Chain & Human Resources. These employees long service helps to give us the consistency across the business to grow in a fast-changing world and we would like to say a big THANK YOU for all their loyalty and hard work in their time with us!
