U.S: Heart Aerospace “to Carry Out First Comprehensive Electric Trial Flight at Plattsburgh International Airport.” Swedish hybrid-electric airplane maker, Heart Aerospace, aims to carry out the first comprehensive electric trial flight of its demonstrator airplane, Heart Experimental 1 (Heart X1), at upstate New York’s Plattsburgh International Airport in Clinton County, early next year, reports a press release. CycloTech Appoints “Dr Marcus Bauer as New CEO.” Former Rolls-Royce Director, Dr. Marcus Bauer, has been appointed the new CEO of CycloTech, reports a press release. A leader in the development of innovative CycloRotor technology, Dr Bauer will take up the reins on December 1st, succeeding Hans-Georg Kinsky. UrbanLink Air Mobility Collaborates with Traverse Aero “For 40 Hybrid-Electric eVTOL Cargo Drones” Florida-based, UrbanLink Air Mobility, announced this week a collaboration with California-based, Traverse Aero, to expand its fleet by adding 40 hybrid-electric eVTOL cargo drones called Orca, reports a press release. VoltAero Partners with AltiSky, Expands to North America “for Cassio Aircraft Assembly, Sales, Training and Support.” VoltAero has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AltiSky for the Cassio electric-hybrid aircraft’s local assembly and distribution across the U.S, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, reports a press release. Under the MOU terms, AltiSky is to build a 30,000-sq.ft Cassio assembly facility with an adjoining delivery centre in the U.S. along with a high quality training complex that includes a flight simulator. Vertical Aerospace has announced the signing of a term sheet among the Company, its majority shareholder Stephen Fitzpatrick, and its primary creditor Mudrick Capital, securing a commitment to $50 million in new funding. Announced today (Monday), the amount will support the company’s newly launched Flightpath 2030 Strategy which includes the ongoing development and certification of the VX4 eVTOL aircraft. The term sheet includes: - $50 million funding commitment by Mudrick Capital: commitment includes $25 million in upfront funding and an additional $25 million backstop that will be reduced by any amounts raised from third parties. The term sheet includes the option for Stephen Fitzpatrick to invest a further $25 million on the same terms - Balance sheet strengthening: approximately $130 million of convertible notes (50 per cent of the outstanding amount) will be converted into equity at $2.75 per share, substantially reducing Vertical’s debt and significantly deleveraging the company’s balance sheet, enhancing its financial position - Greater certainty for future investors: by fixing the conversion price for the remaining outstanding convertible notes at $3.50 per share, Vertical’s future fundraising plans will be supported - Remaining loan repayment date extended to December 2028: extension ofterm provides further security through Vertical’s certification programme - Renewed commitment to the UK: Vertical will continue to operate from its UK headquarters, maintaining its brand identity and focus on innovation As part of the agreement, Vertical Aerospace’s founder, Stephen Fitzpatrick, will remain on the board, continuing to provide strategic direction as the company progresses through its certification programme. https://ow.ly/ZTCT50UeIwr #evtolinsights #verticalaerospace #uk #funding #vx4 #evtol #airtaxi #electricaviation #advancedairmobility

EHang Announces “Share Repurchase Program Worth USD30 Million.” EHang has announced that its Board of Directors has approved a Share Repurchase Program, allowing the company to repurchase up to USD30 million of its American Depositary Shares (ADSs) or ordinary shares over the next 12 months.
