We finally hope to have our website and emails back within the next 24 hours! (fingers crossed) Again, I am very sorry that it has been down for a week and a half. 🙏 🙏🙏Executive and Personal Assistants Association Never in my life have I been asked to provide so much identification to prove I am who I say I am. I have had to do this with GoDaddy, as they simply didn't accept my British passport, driving licence, birth certificate, marriage certificate, a selfie holding my IDs... I literally ran out of IDs to give them! I am all for cyber security but this was obsence. I felt deeply uncomfortable having to show so many of my personal documents. All members will be provided with an extra months membership to convey sincere apologies for this. We will update all member records over the festive period to reflect the extra month.

⚠️⚠️ Unfiltered & Unstoppable Panel: A No-Holds-Barred Conversation - Part One⚠️⚠️ Monday 2nd December at 7pm (UK Time) It seems my 'lets get out of the echo chamber' post from last week really resonated with many people! Get ready for an unapologetically honest and dynamic discussion where no topic is off-limits and no opinion is sugarcoated. 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 Unfiltered & Unstoppable brings together speakers & trainers, industry disruptors, and candid EA & Admin voices to tackle today’s most pressing issues with raw authenticity. Expect debate, unexpected insights, and powerful takeaways as we break down barriers, challenge the status quo, and explore the ideas shaping the future. This is not your typical panel—it’s a real, unvarnished conversation you won’t want to miss! This is part one of a series that will take place over the coming months. The panel joining me for the first session is: ➡️ Anel Martin ➡️ Candice Burningham ➡️ Fiona Kelly - Executive PA Forum Global ➡️ Mallory Rothstein ➡️ Shelagh Donnelly, speaker and trainer for resilient high performers Anyone from around the world is more than welcome to join us. Brits, it is tea time for us on Monday evening, but hopefully you can eat and watch/listen. If you want to come on a future panel of this series and give your unflinching feedback and thoughts... do it! It is really important at this stage that we hear from as many people as possible. Our next Executive and Personal Assistants Association Fireside Discussion I am hugely honoured to welcome Simon Fanshawe on all things EDI! 27th November at 1pm (UK) 💻 💻 💻 💻 'Flying the Flags and Ticking Boxes - what went wrong with EDI and how can leaders fix it?' This report started with a hunch. Through Simon's work with Diversity by Design, he thought he was seeing the same things happening across organisations in the public and private sectors. These patterns were emerging whether he was working with boards, executive teams or staff networks. Diversity, equality and inclusion (EDI) work appeared to have become disconnected from its fundamental purpose. Join us as we talk through the findings of this report and how you as an EA or PA can support leadership teams to readdress the balance on EDI. About Simon ⬇ Simon co-founded Stonewall, which transformed the face of gay rights. Simon was an original member of the generation that transformed stand-up in the UK (and he won the Perrier Award). He is a formidable public speaker, a much in demand Chair of conferences and events, and a well-known broadcaster. For six years (2007 – 2013) he was The Chair of the Council of the University of Sussex. He currently serves on the Boards of the Brighton Dome and Festival, Housing & Care 21, The Kaleidoscope Trust and The Museum of London. Simon’s career has spanned live performance, broadcasting, journalism, training and advocacy on leadership and equality & diversity and as a non-exec. He has had several of his own series on Radio 4, Radio 5 and Talk Radio. He makes documentaries for the BBC on both Radio and TV. He is a regular on BBC Breakfast (BBC1). Executive and Personal Assistants Association Millennial & Gen Z Focus Groups 📝 🗓 🔔 💻 We invite millennial and Gen Z EAs, PA or Admins, who are undertaking the roles currently or seeking to enter the profession, to please join us for these focus groups. The purpose of which seeks to reshape the UK profession and ensure that it is truly fit for future generations, businesses and incoming leaders. I am not entirely confident that it currently is, and I say this as a millennial myself. 🌟Millennials: typically born -1981–1996 🌟 🌟Generation Z: typically born -1997–2012 🌟 This is a chance to share your honest opinions, perceptions, and attitudes in an open, interactive setting. The goal of these focus groups is to collect qualitative insights that may not surface in surveys or individual interviews. ➡ These sessions will be facilitated by me (I have over 15 years experience in facilitating groups like this) and will operate a confidential setting. ➡ Any commentary used in public settings after the session has taken place will not be attributed to any one person, unless you give us explicit permission to do so. ➡ The session will be approximately 90 minutes long. ➡ You do not need to undertake any preparation for this. ➡ All sessions are being run virtually over the next 5 weeks, every Tuesday at 3pm (UK time) ⏰ We wanted to run some of these face to face, but it hasn't been possible due to my recent illness and people's diaries. Please sign up here - https://lnkd.in/ePZB6jXZ If you have a vested interest in this profession and want to learn more yourself from these generations, we do encourage you to sign up above. 🔵 If you are people managing/line managing these generations, we have a separate focus group we would like to undertake with you on 3rd December at 11am. Please sign up for this session here - https://lnkd.in/eqxqNVST I thank anyone and everyone in advance who takes part in these. I appreciate people are very time poor right now and are working hard through a stagnated, low growth British economy.
