Keeping your dental implants clean is just like maintaining good oral hygiene for your natural teeth. Here's a rundown of how to clean them: 👉 Brush your implants at least twice a day. 👉 Consider an electric toothbrush with pressure control, which helps you to not brush your gums and implants too hard. 👉 Floss at least once a day to remove plaque and food particles between teeth and around the implant. 👉 Use interdental brushes to clean the hard-to-reach areas in between your implants and surrounding teeth. 👉 Regularly visit your dentist to monitor the health of your implants and gums. 👉 Regularly visit your hygienist for professional cleanings. Last week, our team celebrated Christmas with a fun evening at Devon Cookery School! We learned to make delicious canapés, including Smoked Mackerel Pâté, Gougère (cheese nibbles), and Pork & Cranberry Filo Cigars—everything tasted amazing! Last week, our whole team got into the festive spirit with a Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save the Children! 🎄 A fun day was had by all!

Meet our new Head Dental Nurse, Jess 👋 Jess joined the practice in September of this year, having obtained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2022 and, since then, having worked as Deputy Lead Nurse in another private dental practice. As well as supporting the nursing team, Jess works alongside Dr Alejandro Marcos Molins, while studying for her Dental Radiography and Dental Nurse Sedation qualifications. In her spare time, Jess enjoys walking her dogs Dotty and Luna 🐾
