We had a brilliant time last week at the Southmoor Academy Careers Fair in Sunderland! Our team of engineers were on hand to chat with students about the exciting world of engineering and the many opportunities it offers. It was fantastic to see so much curiosity and enthusiasm from the students, and we loved answering their questions and showcasing how engineering is shaping the future. We wrapped up a fantastic week at the FANUC Europe Open House with an insightful panel discussion on the Adoption of Robotics into SMEs. Our Group Technology Director, David Bartell joined other industry experts Rachael Eade MBE, Mike Wilson, Tom Bouchier, Sam Reid, and Chris Greenough as part of the West Midlands Robotics Cluster. The panel dove into the real challenges and opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses adopting robotics and automation. From making robotics more accessible and adaptable to highlighting the long-term benefits, it was clear that these technologies can be transformative for SMEs, helping them stay competitive in a fast-evolving industry.
