🎉 Excited to share our latest publication! 🎉 We are delighted to announce our recent work published in International Journal of Pharmaceutics, where we explored the potential of 3D printing (3DP) to advance personalized medicine, especially for rare diseases like biotinidase deficiency. In this study, we addressed the critical challenge of quality control (QC) in personalized pharmaceutical production. By integrating a precision balance into a direct powder extrusion 3D printer (M3DIMAKER™), we enabled real-time, in-line mass uniformity testing—a key step for ensuring precise dosing and product safety. Using this system, we successfully developed capsule-shaped biotin tablets (printlets) for immediate and extended-release applications.
