🌟 Successful testing of the Dumarey Green Power Revolution Battery on tower cranes! 🌟 Our Revolution Battery system moved a step closer to first deployment following successful trials with Falcon Tower Crane Services Ltd yesterday. The high-power battery was deployed on a JASO Tower Cranes J80pa luffing jib crane and a J160 Saddle jib crane. Individually, and finally with simultaneous lifts and multiple active motions 💪 The system was then transferred to a large J380pa luffing jib crane, which recorded peak power demand of over 200 kW. The team from Falcon was trained to commission the system, and tested a variety of modes and functionality including calling a Falcon Power Generation generator to charge the battery. The Revolution Battery is able to run the largest tower cranes in the country from just a 32A mains connection or equivalent generator. It’s able to create 300 kW of power from a 28 kWh battery pack making it small, light and highly cost effective 🔋 Falcon tower cranes are the launch customer for the Revolution Battery and we expect to see their first unit running on sites later this year.
