The title of ‘content creator’ is bandied about a lot. It’s one of those terms that is sometimes met with confusion, even a sneer. Why is it that ‘content creator’ doesn’t hit as hard as Cinematographer, or Art Director? Recently at Fauna, we’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the most innovative and hardworking Content Creators (say it loud and proud) that have ever captured the character rich world of brewing. Paul Blayney has been responsible for shooting our Taproom on two occasions and his reverence for our brand shines through his images. Receiving Paul’s edits is better than Christmas morning. Paul can encapsulate the love we have for our space in a way that keeps us inviting him back. “Working with Fauna Brewing is like a dream come true. I love animals, craft beer and photography. To combine all 3 in one job is the dream. What they are doing for animal conservation in Africa and the UK is outstanding. It’s amazing when your personal values align with that of a client. I couldn’t be happier to help with this amazing work in some small way.” Beeline Studio is a social impact-focused media company specialising in documentary filmmaking, commercial films & journalism. Led by Bea Austin, the team joined us one morning to capture Head Brewer, Mat Hicks, on a typical brew day. On working with Fauna, Bea said “It was so fun spending the day at Fauna Brewing and working with the epic team there. We loved hearing more about their conservation efforts and seeing their unique brewing process. We really enjoyed the experience and it was great to create content for them.”

About us
Conceived in Africa, founded in London and growing in West Sussex, at Fauna, conservation is our core. Our beers are inspired by wildlife, for wildlife. With every beer we brew, we partner with a wildlife charity or conservation cause. Supporting efforts to fight species decline whilst minimising our own environmental impact is at the forefront of what we do. From the very beginning, we set out to build an ethical beer brand that gives back. It is also essential to us that your funds go to the right causes, which is why we carefully select each incredible partner ourselves. We only choose charities and causes who we believe are making a real difference to the conservation scene. Have you heard all about Fauna’s session IPA, Tree Planter? We have had Tree Planter, our first sessionable cask creation at 3.4%, on tap in and around Sussex and pouring at our Taproom for a while now. Not unlike Meadow Maker, the idea behind Tree Planter is that it "does what it says on the tin"(nie) We’re grateful it’s been so popular in these early days and are thrilled to announce that we have entrusted the planting of Tree Planter’s saplings to Planet Partner! We plant one tree per cask sold with Planet Partner, who partner with world renown organisations that work alongside local communities in South America and Sub-Saharan Africa to help them to produce, plant, and protect tens of millions of trees every month. However the work goes further than this, the donations also providing hands-on agroforestry training and resources to these local farming communities. The tree planting and training helps restore degenerated land enabling farmers to rebuild their food systems from the ground up. Breaking both the cycles of climate change and generational poverty. Fauna Founder, Phil Howard, says “Making the decision to partner up with another charitable organisation, or conservation project for Tree Planter was made simple by Planet Partner. They’re effective, well trusted and offer an accessible way to make a change. In this manner, their ethos mirrors our own, and we’re proud to be working with them.” Tree Planter Session IPA, a versatile, British session IPA with Olicana and First Gold hops. Expect complex bitterness with floral, fruity notes of grapefruit, alongside a commitment to conservation. We have just planted 150 trees with Planet Partner, and with your support, the first 150 of many! 🌳
