The Foundation team paying their respects this morning at the War Horse in Featherstone. The War Horse is also currently wearing a Purple Poppy Coat to honour all the service animals made by Murphy’s Army. Each poppy was sewn onto the horse individually alongside 353 red poppies that represent the Featherstone soldiers who were lost in the wars. The Foundation also attended the Remembrance Parade in the Town yesterday laying a Foundation Wreath. 🫶🏻 #remembranceday

What a great day we had on Friday visiting National Coal Mining Museum for England Thankyou so much for having us! Members from our community activities came along and one of our Past players who's fellow team mates worked down the Mines. This wouldn't have been possible without support from Wakefield Council travel bursary to enable us to provide free transport on the day for everyone. #communityengagement #wakefielddistrict #transportbursary

We are delighted to announce that Body Works Gym in Featherstone are sponsoring the Featherstone Rovers All Star Dance Academy annual presentation evening on Saturday 9th November at Featherstone Rovers RLFC, The Millennium Stadium. The sponsorship has enabled us to be able to purchase the trophies and medals for the event to celebrate and recognise our Dance Academy members commitment and achievements throughout the 2024 season. 'Bodyworks Gym is a small family run business located at top of Green Lane, Featherstone that is a well established business within the community, who are dedicated to help their members achieve their goals & specialise in everything health and fitness related. The family have lived in Featherstone most of their lives and wanted to give a little something back to the community. We have also had the pleasure of sponsoring a member of the LDRL team and now are supporting the young dancers of the Featherstone Rovers Dance Academy.
