🚀 Fieldfisher demonstrates expertise in £14 million Series B funding for Tembo. Fieldfisher has advised digital savings and mortgage platform, Tembo on its £14 million Series B funding round, led by Goodwater Capital with participation from existing investors Aviva, Ascension Ventures, Love Ventures, and McPike Family Office. This brings Tembo’s total funding to £20 million. Founded in 2020, Tembo aims to improve access to homeownership for first-time buyers. The platform offers over 10,000 mortgage products and specialist family-mortgage schemes, helping over 4,000 buyers purchase homes and 35,000 save for deposits via its Lifetime ISA in the last year. Fieldfisher’s Tom Ward, Andy Oliver, and Julija Venckute led the advisory team. Tembo's CEO Richard Dana praised our team's commercial approach and trusted partnership. Zara lent her invaluable insights on a range of topics, namely, how islamophobia can manifest, addressing common misconceptions, facts and figures about the Global and UK-based Muslim populations and shared her advice on how to be an effective ally to Muslim colleagues. It was great to hear how passionate Zara is about community change, empowering young people, and improving diversity and inclusion.
