We’re over the moon to be featured in The Times! Nearly 100 descendants of Sir Joseph Noel Paton came together in his hometown of Dunfermline to celebrate his legacy—a reunion spanning generations, from a 91-year-old great-grandchild to a 10-year-old great-great-great-grandchild. This special gathering marks the opening of our free exhibit showcasing over 80 of Paton’s works, running until February 9! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/eFHbFkUT

And he sounds so young for being so very old! 😂 Great tribute to an iconic global figure, after whom our beloved theatre is called ❤️
The Adam Smith Theatre celebrating its 125th Anniversary with a 'Big Birthday Bash' today from 11:00 - 15:00. Thanks to Fife Cultural Trust (OnFife) we managed, somehow, to catch up with Adam Smith himself..... Hear more here: https://lnkd.in/eeYxgMk8

And don’t forget to come down to the theatre tomorrow for a day of free celebrations! 🥳🥳. Find out more here: https://lnkd.in/eQBGQw9E
Happy 125th birthday Adam Smith Theatre - Kirkcaldy's own theatre of dreams. Seen many, many shows there across the last three decades, and even staged our own ones - Raith Rovers Hall of Fame nights and now Fife Flyers Hockey Show. A pleasure to catch up with former PR man Bert Ross who retired in the 1990s and is still going strong. One of the many people at the very heart of this braw venue. #ONFife

📢 Exciting news! Our new mural celebrating Adam Smith’s incredible journey has been unveiled at the Spinning Top Café in the Adam Smith Theatre, Kirkcaldy 🎨✨ Suzie Dempsey (Hall), our Head of Customer Engagement, shares, “We wanted to represent Adam Smith’s life in a creative, accessible and quirky way with a little added humour, as it’s located in a social and busy space.” A big thank you to Jenny Proudfoot for this vibrant tribute, which took 3 weeks to design and deliver just in time for our Adam Smith Theatre 125 Birthday Bash! 🎉 Come see it for yourself! 👀 #AdamSmithTheatre #OnFife #MuralUnveiling #AdamSmith #ScotlandHistory
A topsy-turvy trawl through the life of Kirkcaldy’s greatest son is bringing an eye-catching dash of colour to a local landmark venue.

The new mural depicting Adam Smith’s life in the Adam Smith Theatre cafe & bar looks great! Head down and enjoy a read while enjoying a coffee and maybe a wee cake!
More art in community spaces! Wonderfully considered and executed piece by Jenny Proudfoot successfully installed at Fife Cultural Trust (OnFife) Adam Smith Theatre, sensitively and humourously telling the story of the man himself. Great project management from Suzie Dempsey (Hall) and Marcus Kenyon, and all thanks to a generous donation from Ascot Lloyd via Chris Hodgson - Financial Planning in retirement and John Dempsey.
