Fife Young Carers

Last year we ran a research project with support from Martin Dewar from Staybright Edinburgh as part of our Employability Project, funded by Carers Trust & Postcode Lottery Group. The research was around employment and the experiences of Young Adult Carers (YACs) in Fife. It was a big piece of work made up of focus groups, one-to-one meetings, employer interviews and digital surveys. This was a comprehensive project and it would not have been possible without the support of Martin. Martin was understanding of YACs and their needs, he worked in partnership with them to hear their views and was clearly passionate about the project. We very much enjoyed working with him and could not recommend him highly enough.
