Digital driving licences that drivers can access on phones are to be introduced this year, according to reports. Ministers are due to announce the plans this week, according to The Times, with the digital licence expected to be available within a virtual wallet in a government app. Physical licences will still be available alongside the digital option, which will not be mandatory. https://lnkd.in/eETuEjZQ

Grey has cemented its place as Britain’s most popular new car colour for the seventh consecutive year but with growing competition from blue car volumes. There has been a 50% jump in drivers killed in collisions where the driver was under the influence of drugs, according to the AA Charitable Trust.
