Earlier in the month, FH's travel and tourism team headed to Iceland for Mid-Atlantic 2025, the bi-annual tradeshow sponsored by Icelandair, that offers hundreds of attendees from the global travel industry to meet, work together and exchange ideas. This year we were challenged to widen the appeal and reach. To do so, we worked closely with our in-market teams to target the most relevant media, developed an itinerary designed with those aims in mind, as well as identified key storytelling angles that would further elevate not just the event, but Icelandair’s key network destinations. Despite challenges with the weather causing some last-minute adjustments, the trip went ahead and was a resounding success. Hosting global media at a round-table lunch with Icelandair’s CEO and COO, followed by one-on-one interviews with notable outlets like The Telegraph, Forbes US, National Geographic, and Les Echos, with talking points including the launch of an exciting new Miami route, strategic partnerships, future network expansions, and a first look at positive year-end results. We’re thrilled to share our latest work with Pluto TV and the Modus Super Series, now streaming exclusively on the platform. To mark the occasion, we went all out — securing over 180 pieces of media coverage through a major press push in early January and hosting an epic darts night with over 80 media, influencers, and stakeholders. In attendance we had six of the most influential names in darts, including Phil “The Power” Taylor, Adrian Lewis, Vincent Van Der Voort, Simon Whitlock, Fallon Sherrock, and Laura Turner, and eight content creators from a mix of sports and lifestyle backgrounds. With top-tier media outlets including The Sun, Daily Star, TechRadar, Rolling Stone, LADbible, Evening Standard, Reach PLC, The Guardian, and many more in attendance, the momentum hasn’t stopped, as our event sparked 18+ additional media hits, including a Guardian double-page spread! To be able to build on this buzz—bringing the sport to new audiences, driving deeper engagement, and celebrating its legendary players—has been an incredible journey. Huge thanks to Pluto TV & Modus Super Series for trusting us to make this moment happen 🚀🎯 #ModusSuperSeries #PlutoTV #Darts Olivier Jollet, Jesper Dahl, Claudia Loda, Hamza Sabuncu, Francesca Soffientini, Chris Scholz, Alison Hope, Marie Morgan, Georgie Starr, Conor R. In a complex world, country reputation matters more than ever. With low confidence in the largest, most powerful countries’ ability to solve global challenges, the opportunity for other countries to have greater influence is clear. Our International Affairs team’s new study “Achieving Outsized Impact: Country Reputation in a Disrupted World” examines the drivers of positive country reputation – from attributes to character traits, and leadership qualities to communications. We’ve explored to put it in action in areas like diplomacy, economic development and trade, cultural economics and sustainability. Particularly for mid-sized and small countries, the moment for action is now.
