A well-deserved night out for the Flock team who gathered in London for our Christmas party, filled with fun games including beer pong, karaoke and delicious food! Manoeuvring incidents, such as minor collisions during parking, is the most common accident type during the winter. These often occur with new drivers adjusting to unfamiliar vehicles in their first few days. Here’s how to lower the risks 👇 Route Planning: Avoid narrow streets or areas requiring complex manoeuvres. Use Mirrors and Cameras: Check mirrors and blind spots regularly, and make use of reversing cameras and sensors. Parking Best Practices: Always perform a 360-degree check before moving, use the hand brake on slopes, and assess spaces before parking. Slow Movements: In tight spaces, move slowly and steadily to maintain control. Regular training in manoeuvring and parking - especially for new drivers - can significantly reduce incidents.
