🌍 We’re delighted to highlight the inspiring insights shared at ACS International Schools’ recent Future-Ready Forum! With over 110 attendees, including students, families, and educators, this lively event explored the essential skills young people need to flourish in tomorrow’s world. Applied Futurist, Tom Cheesewright, delivered an engaging keynote, identifying creativity, communication, and the ability to curate reliable information as the top skills that will empower students to succeed. Addressing the unique challenges ahead, Tom underscored how global competition, AI's growing influence, and the acceleration of misinformation will shape young people’s journeys. Following the keynote, an insightful Q&A panel featured experts Victoria Humphries, Dr Robert Harrison, and Bhekinkosi Sibanda, discussing the future of work, the role of AI, and how education must evolve. Dr Harrison emphasised the value placed by SMEs on skills such as problem-solving, self-management, and teamwork, which drive much of the global economy. The outcomes of this event reflect ACS’s mission to develop well-rounded individuals equipped to meet the demands of the future with resilience and confidence. 📘 As we nurture a generation ready for the future, it’s clear that the power of learning lies not only in knowledge, but in cultivating the skills to apply it effectively.
