We all want those quick ROAS wins during Black Friday. Last year, we conducted an analysis measuring cross-channel ROAS growth MoM - to tell you exactly where to invest for cheap customer acquisition. For growth channels (1% of budget on average) Snapchat came out on top - with a massive 97% ROAS boost from October to November. Low CPMs + low competition + high intent audience = recipe for success. Since 2023, Snapchat has made huge improvements to its ad product including introducing a 7-0 optimization model. This enables advertisers to target the platform's unique audience at scale and generate high returns on ad spend. The power of full funnel investment is somewhat of an unsung hero when it comes to BFCM. A lot of brands will concentrate 99% of their November spend into Conversion activity. This is logical - you're targeting customers at their highest eagerness to buy. But allocating a portion of spend to Awareness and Consideration during peak has surprisingly significant benefits. With lower competition and healthier CPMs, higher funnel activity becomes remarkably efficient in November... ...with Consideration ROAS boosted by 106% MoM. Don't get us wrong - Conversion should still be the core of your BFCM approach. Last year, Conversion still produced by far the most revenue in November, while maintaining the same ROAS, so it remains the best objective for scale.
