During his recent visit to VAST's facilities, our CIO, Tommaso Tonina, explored their pioneering work in advancing space habitation as part of the So-Cal UK Space Accelerator powered by Mandala Space Ventures and the UK Space Agency. VAST’s vision of creating the world’s first private space station, Haven-1, and the next-generation Haven-2, closely aligns with Frontier Space’s mission of enabling sustainable and innovative exploration beyond Earth. Their emphasis on modularity and reusability echoes the principles embedded in our #Spacelab, reflecting a shared commitment to efficient orbital solutions. This visit reinforced our belief in the transformative potential of space research and collaboration. Together with industry leaders, we are dedicated to shaping a future where space is not merely the frontier, but a flourishing domain for research, commerce, and life. #FrontierSpace #MandalaVentures #InnovationInOrbit #SustainabilityInSpace

A fantastic day visiting Rocket Lab! Frontier Space had the privilege of seeing a company that’s leading the way in space technology with 50+ successful launches and a clear focus on creating not just functional, but beautiful systems. Their commitment to quality craftsmanship and building with care ensures the reliability and safety of their innovations. This approach resonates with us at Frontier Space, where we too are dedicated to crafting technology that is both impactful and enduring. And yes, "we go to space to improve life on Earth!" #FrontierSpace #RocketLab #SpaceInnovation #CraftingtheFuture

Frontier Space at NASA JPL! Our CIO, Tommaso Tonina, recently had the exciting opportunity to spend a day at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as part of the SoCal-UK Space Accelerator, gaining an inside look at the innovative environments driving their space missions. He explored the Mars Yard, where the Martian terrain is simulated to refine rovers and robotic technology for autonomous exploration, and visited the Microdevices Lab, where advanced technologies like microelectronics and quantum computing ensure the reliability of space missions. Additionally, JPL’s Testing Facilities rigorously evaluate components to ensure they can withstand the extreme conditions of space. As Tommaso said, "It was special" to have visited alongside Leon Alkalai, CEO of Mandala Space Ventures, who had key contributions to the GRAIL mission to the Moon (2011) and the INSIGHT lander on Mars (2012). This visit has further inspired our team to apply the same commitment to innovation, as we look forward to what’s next for Frontier Space and the exciting new frontiers ahead! Gravity Not Included: A Starlab Microgravity Workshop 🚀 We had the opportunity to attend the Starlab Microgravity Workshop in Milan on October 15. This workshop was dedicated to exploring the use of #microgravity for terrestrial biopharma and material development. Our team, Dr Aqeel Shamsul and Bartosz Rybacki, were invited to participate in the workshop to provide input from a user and customer perspective. 🗝️Key highlights: ->> How life science experiments in space are driving critical innovations on Earth. ->> Where are the potential market opportunities, and what do we need to capture this opportunity for commercial #spacestation. ->> The exciting potential for #AI and data management built into the infrastructure with Palantir Technologies to streamline innovative insight in past microgravity R&D and managing in-space R&D and manufacturing. We are partnering with G-SPACE, Inc to unlock this vertical. At Frontier Space, we believe in the potential of microgravity to revolutionise the pharmaceutical industry, whether by improving patient therapy, manufacturing processes or pre-clinical studies. This workshop explored some new ways in which microgravity can unlock new possibilities for R&D and in-space manufacturing of biologics and small molecules and what the future holds for the low-Earth orbit (#LEO) economy. A huge thanks to Starlab, a joint venture between Voyager Space and Airbus, and Bradley Henderson and his team for hosting such a forward-thinking event! Stay tuned—more updates on the way!
