In our upcoming report with FT Longitude, we surveyed 770 CEOs, COOs, and CFOs from companies with revenues of between $100 million and $100 billion+ in 21 countries and 10 different sectors, and found that many companies start at least one new cost optimization program a year. Our survey suggests that this approach damages cost performance: many companies struggle to achieve their cost savings targets. Rising costs, geopolitical complexity, and regulatory pressures are squeezing even the best-run companies. Cost excellence isn’t just a choice —it’s a must. What sets the leaders apart?
