Does anyone else have those moments when your children ask if they’re your favourite? When it comes to my kids, to paraphrase the book, they are all my favourites ! However, when it comes to the tools we use to help our clients, though, I have a bit of a “go-to sonic screwdriver” in  Futrli by Sage. It’s the ultimate problem-solving companion when advising business owners. The ability it gives us to analyse and report on data, model scenarios, incorporate non-financial information, and map out a client’s journey feels nothing short of out of this world. Of course, none of this scenario planning would be possible without robust, up-to-date accounting data and this depends on three key elements: 🪛 Clients who see the value in uploading their source information faster than the Enterprise going warp speed. 🪛 Our dedicated team, who ensure the data is processed in real-time with precision worthy of a Vulcan. 🪛 And the brilliant software that makes this process as smooth as a TARDIS landing (on a good day, anyway!). "WOW This is so cool" Not something you hear too often when your talking numbers with clients, but that was this weeks response to walking client through our Futrli forecast for their business This is a ecommerce start up that's looking at managing daily sales volumes, and corresponding stock reorder quantities, which keeping a keen eye on the cash balance Throw in the mix they have to put a deposit down in advance for purchases and then the stock takes 6 weeks to actually arrive. Means there's a few variables floating around here. Now you could try and do something on a spreadsheet, but getting it to work out the cash balances, as well as the profit and the right stock holding can sooooon turn into a #REF disaster. One wrong number input into it and boom it collapses The other major nut ache (the technical term) with a spreadsheet is that come tomorrow its out of date, so you spend AGES trying to continually keep it up to date..... Not the case with Futrli! It's linked to Xero real time, so once tomorrow arrives, all those lovely little numbers are updated automatically, so I can always keep my little beady eyes all over those numbers A DREAM !
