FUTURE Designs carbon careful™ initiative is targeted to double in size during 2025. carbon careful™ Targets and Impact 2025 Given the exponential growth of the carbon careful™ initiative, FUTURE Designs took the concept to its natural evolution, now hosting its own independent division within the business. With the initiative now completing over 4 million sq ft within the UK, FUTURE Designs stands as the industry’s largest and most experienced leader in this field and continues to take on increasing amounts of carbon careful™ projects with high profile clients. 11% of the organisations projects completed in 2024 were under the carbon careful™ initiative, and as a result our sustainability strategy for 2025 is a bold target. We aim to have the carbon careful™ initiative bring in 23% of our overall turnover. 2025 will also be the year carbon careful™ expands both in projects and countries as we launch this initiative in Europe and the Middle East. Materials We strive to always offer the use of reusable carboard or timber cartons to both collect and return adapted luminaires to and from site. The concept behind this is to reduce site waste by returning after final deliveries the empty containers to FUTURE Designs premises for reuse on subsequent projects. Our packaging uses cartons, tapes and labeling mediums made from sustainable sources. FUTURE Designs hosted apprentices from Group Metropolitan for National Apprentice Week. Their team viewed the concept design prototyping manufacturing assembly and testing to glean an overview of the many processes the system of manufacturing goes through in production. The team even having a go at assembling their own LED luminaire. #nationalapprenticeweek #lightthefuture

Introducing Arbour, Milton Keynes: Welcome to Arbour, Milton Keynes' newest BtR development—a project that reflects Kibre's capabilities, attention to detail, and storytelling expertise. This achievement is a collaboration between the Kibre team, Pension Insurance Corporation plc and an incredible group of consultants who supported us from start to finish. Arbour embodies our passion for crafting thoughtful, community centred spaces with a story at their heart. Kibre's Scope of Work Included: •Interior design: From concept to detailed design, we created an immersive environment for residents, covering amenities such as co-working spaces, a reception area, lounges, a gym, private dining spaces, and a games room. •Furniture design: Specification, procurement, and installation for 258 apartments, plus the styling of three show apartments. •FF&E design and installation:  Including bespoke pieces crafted with local artisans. Styling and dressing: Featuring a curated in-house art package. The intrepid FUTURE Designs Soho Lighthouse team enjoyed a well deserved day out last week to start the Christmas festivities. Starting with a treasure hunt based on the sensational Stirling Prize winning Elizabeth Line and Canary Wharf Group, they incorporated a “Making PLINTH Clean Again” campaign!   PLINTH is one of our bespoke light fixtures installed on the escalators and have been looking a little neglected and unloved since install and in need of a clean up!    Armed with glass cleaner and cloths, the 27 strong gang went about returning the luminaires to their former glory with a deep clean. The team are prepared to hold a practical CPD for the Transport for London folk if they ask!
