About us
Gaunt Golf Design combines experience and knowledge of golf course design with a passion for the game. We offer a comprehensive range of services from the design of completely new golf courses, to individual holes and/or golf course restoration/audits/reviews. Throughout Europe, Africa, North America and Latin America, we design and masterplan high profile tourist resorts and golf courses for hotels, property development companies, private members clubs, proprietary (pay and play) and council owned (municipal) courses. Working with a trusted network of specialists in surveying, finance, agronomy, ecology, engineering, irrigation and drainage design, we go right through the CAD design process to ensure the golf course design will work and is within budget, before committing the client to unnecessary expense.

I'm really looking forward to playing, for the first time, the new course at Prague City Golf Vinoř on 14th September - a course I originally started designing in 2003, which finally opened for play in 2023, after a long, eventful and enlightening journey, initially working alongside 2 developers and a talented team of contractors (All Golf Services, based in Poland) and course managers. It is now in the safe hands of Prague City Golf, a specialist golf operator based in Prague. Prague City Golf aim is to create a leisure resort for family relaxation, suitable for active leisure and sports activities, in harmony with nature and in a friendly environment. It includes connections to local bike paths, use of biodiverse water bodies, entertainment for children and adults, including educational trails and other attractions. Excellent visit to The Tytherington Club today...
A good visit today with Charlie Greasley to mark out bunker sand lines at The Club Company The Tytherington Club - back there again in early August to mark out the next 3 holes - aiming to get all bunkers on the first 9 holes remodelled by the end of September - plus, the course was looking in excellent order c/o Gareth Tucker and his Maintenance Team!
